I gambled that I would be able to find a welcoming crew to send me up some routes if I wandered to the local crag on a sunny weekend day. My gamble paid off and I met a super friendly crew from the local university. They were happy to have someone around to help ropegun and clean routes. I was happy to just climb anything at all. Everyone wins! But let’s be real, it’s mostly me.
